- Educational Qualification: Graduation with minimum specified marks in relevant disciplines.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit for rigorous training.
- Tattoo Policy: Certain restrictions on permanent body tattoos.
- Narcotics: Use or possession of narcotics is prohibited.

The AFCAT 2 Exam 2024 offers aspiring candidates an opportunity to join the Indian Air Force as commissioned officers. With registrations opening on May 30, 2024, candidates can apply through the official website till June 28, 2024, following a two-step process.
Step 1: Registration Process
- Visit the official AFCAT exam website.
- Click on "New User Register" if you're a new user.
- Enter your mobile number and email to register.
- Receive OTP on your mobile and email, fill it in, and click "Submit".
- Get a Login ID and Password on your registered mobile and email.
Step 2: Login
