Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna company and India's leading professional electronics manufacturer, offers a diverse portfolio of over 350 products in various sectors, including Military Communication, Radars, Naval Systems, C4I Systems, Weapon Systems, Homeland Security, Telecom and Broadcast, Electronic Warfare, Tank Electronics, and Electro Optics. The company is seeking to recruit qualified personnel for the following positions:

Vacancy Details

Assistant Manager (Legal) – E-III Grade: 3 Vacancies
Probationary Officer (Legal) – E-II Grade: 3 Vacancies
Senior Assistant Officer (Legal) – E-I Grade (Fixed Tenure for 5 years): 2 Vacancies

Educational Qualification

Assistant Manager (Legal) – E-III Grade

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B / B.L) from a recognized Indian university approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi, or an integrated 5-year course in Law. Candidates with an LLM will be preferred.

Probationary Officer (Legal) – E-II Grade

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B / B.L) from a recognized Indian university approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi, or an integrated 5-year course in Law.

Senior Assistant Officer (Legal) – E-I Grade

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B / B.L) from a recognized Indian university approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi, or an integrated 5-year course in Law. Candidates with an LLM will be preferred.

Salary

Assistant Manager (Legal) – E-III Grade:

Salary Range: ₹50,000 - ₹1,60,000 (3% increment)
Approximate CTC: ₹15 lakhs

Probationary Officer (Legal) – E-II Grade:

Salary Range: ₹40,000 - ₹1,40,000 (3% increment)
Approximate CTC: ₹12 lakhs

Senior Assistant Officer (Legal) – E-I Grade (Fixed Tenure for 5 years):

Salary Range: ₹30,000 - ₹1,20,000 (3% increment)
Approximate CTC: ₹9 lakhs

Age Limit

The upper age limit for the available positions as of October 1, 2024, is as follows: candidates applying for the Assistant Manager (Legal) position in E-III grade should be no older than 32 years.

For the Probationary Officer (Legal) role in E-II grade, the maximum age is set at 25 years. Applicants for the Senior Assistant Officer (Legal) position in E-I grade, which is a fixed tenure of 5 years, should not exceed 40 years of age.

Application Fee

Assistant Manager (Legal) – EIII grade: Rs. 600/- + 18% GST
Probationary Officer (Legal) (Legal) – E-II grade: Rs. 600/- + 18% GST
Senior Assistant Officer (Legal)– E-I grade: Exempted
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee

Selection Process

The selection process for the available positions will begin with a Written Test for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. Those who qualify in the Written Test will then be invited for an Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their Written Test scores, with a merit ratio of 1:5 for E-II and E-I posts, and 1:7 for the E-III post.

To qualify, General/OBC/EWS candidates must achieve a minimum of 35% in both the Written Test and the Interview, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates are required to obtain at least 30% in each stage.
