Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka, is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) responsible for implementing the Metro Rail Project in Bengaluru. BMRCL is seeking applications from qualified and experienced individuals for various positions within the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Wing, available on a Contract or Deputation basis.
Educational Qualification
General Manager (Contract/Stores)
Contract Recruitment:
- Qualification: Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 20 years in tender and contract management or store functions with at least 5 years in Metro Rail/Railway/PSUs/reputed firms.
Deputation:
- Eligibility: IRSS officer in Group ‘A’ with 15 years of experience, including 5 years in large value stores and inventory management.
General Manager (Traction)
Contract Recruitment:
- Qualification: Degree in Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Experience: 20 years in electrification/traction distribution with 5 years at an executive level in Metro Rail/Railway/Transmission systems.
Deputation:
- Eligibility: IRSEE officer in Group ‘A’ with 15 years of service, including 5 years in traction and power supply maintenance.
General Manager (P-Way)
Contract Recruitment:
- Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 20 years in track maintenance or civil construction in Railways/Metro Railways.
Deputation:
- Eligibility: IRSE officer in Group ‘A’ with 15 years of experience in track maintenance or civil construction.
General Manager (Signalling)
Contract Recruitment:
- Qualification: Degree in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Experience: 20 years in signalling systems with 5 years in maintenance of signalling/telecommunication assets.
Deputation:
- Eligibility: IRSSE officer with 15 years of experience in signalling installations, preferably in Metro Rail or with international experience.
Consolidated Pay And Allowances

Contract Recruitment: The consolidated pay is ₹2,06,250 per month. Additional allowances include conveyance or hired vehicle facility, GMC, GPA, NPS, and other applicable allowances and perks according to the prevailing company rules.

Deputation: Payment will be based on the parent department’s pay scale plus a deputation allowance. Deputation officers will also receive transport allowance and perks applicable to the post, in line with the company's rules.

Documents Required
- Passport Size Photograph: Affix the original passport size photograph on the submitted online application form.
- Age Proof: Copy of Birth Certificate or 10th Standard Certificate.
- Educational Qualifications: Copies of certificates from 10th Standard to the highest qualified degree.
- Experience Certificates: Certificates from both present and previous employments.
- NOC/Through Proper Channel Letter: If applicable.
- Resume/Bio Data/CV: Detailed copy.
- APAR Copies: Duly attested copies of the last 5 years’ Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (for deputation posts only).
- Vigilance Clearance & Integrity Certificate: Applicable for deputation posts only.
- Certificate Proforma: To be obtained by HR/Personnel from the current organization (for deputation posts only).
- Other Relevant Certificates: Any additional relevant documents, if available.
Candidates currently employed in Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Bodies, or Public Sector Undertakings who do not submit an NOC with their application must provide a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from their current employer at the time of application verification.
Failure to provide the NOC will result in the disqualification of the candidature. Other documents such as an undertaking to resign upon selection or a resignation letter will not be accepted in place of the NOC.
