BSF Recruitment 2024
Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens, both male and female, for Group 'B' & 'C' combatised (non-gazetted) vacancies in the Border Security Force (BSF), Para-Medical Staff for the year 2024. Applications must be submitted online.
Qualification
SI (Staff Nurse):
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent.
- Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Programme.
- Registration as General Nurse and Midwife with Central or State Nursing Council.
ASI (Lab Technician):
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution of the Central or State Government.
ASI (Physiotherapist):
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 with Science or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an Institution recognized by the Central or State Governments.
- Desirable: 6 months experience in a hospital of the Central or State Government or in a hospital or Institution recognized by the Central or State Government.
Age Limit
- SI/ Staff Nurse: 21-30 years
- ASI/ Lab Technician: 18-25 years
- ASI (Physiotherapist): 20-27 years
- Age of candidates will be determined on the basis of Date of Birth as recorded in their matriculation certificates.
Selection Procedure
Written Examination Details:
- Conducted at various Examination Centres.
- One composite paper lasting two hours.
- Question paper is Objective Type with multiple choices on OMR based answer sheets.
- Subjects covered in the examination are not specified in the provided details.
Qualification Criteria:
- Number of candidates qualifying the written exam will be limited to a maximum of 6 times the number of vacancies or all qualified candidates, whichever is lower.
- Qualified candidates proceed to the 2nd phase examination comprising PST (Physical Standards Test), PET (Physical Efficiency Test), Documentation, and Medical Examination.
Re-evaluation Policy:
- There will be no re-evaluation of the answer sheets after the written examination.
Second Phase Examination:
- Successful candidates in the written exam will appear before the selection board.
- The second phase examination dates will be communicated to candidates via email, SMS, or through the BSF website.
Application Fee
- Candidates to pay Rs 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) for the post of SI(Staff Nurse) and to pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) for the all Group-'C' posts as examination fee plus Rs 47.20 service charges levied by Common Service Centre (CSC) through following payment modes
- Net banking of any bank.
- Credit/ Debit Card of any bank.
- Nearest authorised Common Service Centre
How to Apply
The application by the candidates must be submitted through ONLINE mode only. No other mode for submission of application will be accepted. The facility for submission of online application will be opened on BSF website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in w.e.fill be closed on 25.07.2024 at 11:59 PM.
