CCI Recruitment 2024
The Competition Commission of India (CCI), New Delhi, established under the Competition Act, 2002, invites applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Young Professionals (YPs) on a contract basis. These positions will be based in Delhi and are available in the following fields
Vacancy Details
- Law : Young Professionals (Grade-I) : 10
- Economics : Young Professionals (Grade-I) : 08
- IT : Young Professionals (Grade-I) : 01
- Data Analysts : Young Professionals (Grade-I/II) : 03
Eligibility Criteria
- A degree in LL.B or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute in India or abroad, as acknowledged by the Bar Council of India.
- Eligibility for registration as an advocate with any State Bar Council in India under the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Specialization in competition law, regulatory laws, intellectual property rights, international trade laws, corporate law, or financial law.
- A Postgraduate degree in Economics from a recognized university in India or abroad.
- A doctoral degree in Economics, focusing on competition policy or closely related fields, from a reputable university or institution.
- Consistently high academic performance.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Specialization in Microeconomics.
- A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or Electronics and Communication.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized university.
- Relevant certifications such as Linux Certification, CCNA, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CEH.
- A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science/Data Science or a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized university or institution.
Remuneration
- Young Professional Grade-I: Monthly lump sum remuneration of ₹60,000, with a 10% increase after each year of completion.
- Young Professional Grade-II (Data Analysts only): Monthly lump sum remuneration of ₹80,000, with a 10% increase after each year of completion
Age Limit
- Young Professional Grade-I: Age limit up to 30 years as of the date of the advertisement.
- Young Professional Grade-II (Data Analysts only): Age limit up to 35 years as of the date of the advertisement.
Selection Method
Applicants should be dynamic and self-motivated professionals with strong analytical, communication (including technical writing), and interpersonal skills. The grade of Young Professionals (YPs) will be determined based on experience, educational qualifications, and overall performance during the interview. The Commission reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the engagement of YPs.
