CCMT 2024 Counseling is a centralized process for admission to MTech, MArch, and MPlan programs across various prestigious institutions in India, including NITs, IIITs, and more. Organized by SVNIT, the counseling will have two rounds: normal and special. Registration for regular rounds starts on May 24, with the deadline being June 7.

The counseling schedule includes important dates like June 10 for fee payment resolution and choice locking and June 12 for round 1 seat allocation results. Final-year students must provide proof of passing before September 2024. Eligibility criteria include possessing a valid GATE score and minimum CGPA requirements. Eligibility 

The eligibility criteria for CCMT 2024 Counseling are summarized Here:

  • Must have a valid GATE score.
  • Minimum CGPA requirement is 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% for Backward Classes (BC) candidates.
  • For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Person with Disabilities (PWD) candidates, the minimum CGPA is 6.0 on a 10-point scale or 55%.
  • The CGPA or percentage should be awarded by a reputable university.
  • Final-year students need to provide proof of passing before September 2024.

Fee Details 

Category: 

There are two categories for fee payment: General / General-EWS / OBC and SC/ST/PWD.

Application Fee: 

For General / General-EWS / OBC categories, the application fee is Rs. 3000. For SC/ST/PWD categories, it's Rs. 2500.

Seat Acceptance Fee: 

After seat allotment, candidates need to pay a seat acceptance fee. For General / General-EWS / OBC categories, it's Rs. 30,000, while for SC/ST/PWD categories, it's Rs. 10,000.

Steps in Allotments of Seats 

Here are the steps involved in the allotment of seats for CCMT 2024 Counseling:

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to the official website of Centralized Counseling for CCMT ccmt.admissions.nic.in
  2. Seat Allotment Link: Click on the seat allotment link for CCMT 2024.
  3. Login: Enter your GATE Registration ID and Password.
  4. Submit and Login: Click on the "Login" button.
  5. Check Allotment Status: The allotment status will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download Allotment Letter: If allotted, download the allotment letter and take a printout for further reference.
