The Recruitment of BC Supervisor under Central Bank of India, Regional Office Jabalpur details are here. The number of vacancies is 5.
- Initially, they propose to appoint a maximum of 25 BC Supervisors for monitoring BCs, up to the maximum limit mentioned above.
- If the number of BCs reaches the maximum limit, they will appoint a 2nd BC Supervisor and follow the same procedure for appointing 3rd, 4th, and 5th Supervisors onward.
- The number of BCs assigned to each supervisor can be adjusted based on requirements.
- BC agents should not have any family, blood, or close relations with the supervisor or any business relations.
Eligibility Criteria
For Retired Bank Employees
- Eligible Candidates: Retired Officers (including voluntarily retired) from any bank (PSU/RRB/Private Banks/Cooperative Banks) up to the rank of Senior Manager or equivalent.
- Retired Clerks: Retired clerks and equivalent of Central Bank of India who have passed JAIIB with a good track record.
- Experience: All applicants must have at least 3 years of rural banking experience.
- Age: The maximum entry age is up to 64 years, and the maximum age for continuation as BC supervisors is 65 years.
For Young Candidates
- Education: Minimum qualification of a graduate with computer knowledge (MS Office, email, Internet, etc.). Qualifications like M.Sc. (IT), BE (IT), MCA, or MBA will be given preference.
- Age: Candidates should be between 21-45 years old at the time of appointment.

Selection Process
The selection will be held through an interview process. The contract will initially be for 12 months, subject to satisfactory annual performance reviews.
- Candidates should be selected from the same district where they will be assigned to work. If suitable candidates are not available in the same district, they may be selected from adjoining districts.
- Proficiency in the local language and dialect, including both reading and writing, is required. Candidates from other states will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Applicants must be willing and able to visit villages in the district for supervision and other activities as assigned at periodic intervals.
- Accommodation should be near the nodal branch and not located outside the district for which selection is to be made.
