Eligibility Criteria

To participate in NIFT Counselling 2024, candidates must have qualified in the NIFT 2024 exam and any subsequent interview or situation test, if applicable.

Registration Process

  • Candidates need to register for NIFT Counselling 2024 through the official website using their NIFT UG roll number, password, and security pin.
  • They will provide personal and contact details during registration and generate a password for future use.
  • After submitting the registration form, an OTP will be sent to their registered mobile number for verification.

Application Form:

  • Once registered, candidates must fill out and submit the NIFT Counselling 2024 application form.
  • They need to provide details such as date of birth, nationality, state of domicile, and sub-category information.

Qualification Details:

  • Candidates have to submit details of their Class 12 or equivalent qualification, including passing status, passing year, and marks obtained.

Document Upload:

  • Candidates are required to upload necessary documents such as 10th class certificate, 12th class mark sheet, category certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents.

Choice Filling & Locking:

  • Candidates will fill in their preferred choices of NIFT campuses and programs based on availability.
  • Once choices are filled, candidates must lock them using their generated password.

Fees:

  • There is no fee for NIFT Counselling registration.
  • However, if allotted a seat, candidates need to pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 1,83,200.

Documents Required for NIFT Counselling 2024

  • Self-attested copies of class 10th and 12th certificates
  • Category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS), if applicable
  • Passport-sized photographs
  • Domicile certificates (for state domicile seats)
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Undertakings for provisional admission, anti-ragging, and fee refund

Important Guidelines for Choice Filling

  • Only fill in preferences for campuses and courses that you are willing to join.
  • Make sure to lock your choices before the deadline.
  • Do not wait until the last day to fill preferences as there may be no extensions.
  • Ensure to select programs at your domicile campus if eligible.
  • If eligible for the Kashmiri migrant quota, fill in preferences for NIFT Srinagar.
