The Container Corporation of India is hiring for the position of Group General Manager (MS) (Civil)/ Sr. General Manager (P&S) (Civil) in 2024. They are looking for candidates with experience in civil engineering works like designing, planning, and executing construction projects related to container terminals, warehouses, and roads.

Applicants must be officers from the IRSE cadre with a certain number of years of service. Salary

Scale of Pay Salary
₹1,20,000-3%-2,80,000 (E-8) (IDA Scale) Salary of the parent department plus allowance
₹1,00,000-3%-2,60,000 (E-7) (IDA Scale) Salary of the parent department plus allowance

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification Criteria:

  • SAG/SG Officer of IRSE cadre with a minimum of 17 years of Group "A" service will be designated as GGM (P&S) (Civil).
  • SG Officer of IRSE cadre with 14 years but less than 17 years of Group "A" service will be designated as Sr. GM (P&S) (Civil).

Age Limit:

  • Candidates should be below 54 years of age.

Selection Process

The selection process for the position comprises various facets evaluated on a 100-point scale. It includes judgment of different aspects such as Professional Ability, Experience, Skills, Comprehension, and Aptitude. The process involves:

  1. Evaluation of Professional Ability (30 Marks)
  2. Assessment of Experience (20 Marks)
  3. Consideration of Seniority and APAR (20 Marks)
  4. Assessment of Allowances & Perks as per entitlement (30 Marks)
