What is CUET 2024?

CUET UG Eligibility 2024
To take the CUET 2024 test, students must meet certain rules from the National Testing Agency. These rules are about where you are from, how old you are, and what grades you have. Here are the rules:

You should have passed high school or be about to finish it in 2024.

If you finished high school outside India or from a different board, you need a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities saying your grades are like the ones in India.

There is no age rule for taking the CUET exam.

You can take the exam as many times as you want. There is no limit on attempts.
CUET UG 2024: Scheme of Examination

CUET (UG) - 2024 Parameters:
Total subjects: 61 (33 languages, 27 domain-specific, 1 General Test)
Choice of Test Paper: Maximum 6 Test papers (4 or 5 domain subjects including General Test, 1 or 2 languages)
Medium of the Test: 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu)
Mode of the Examination: Hybrid mode (Pen & Paper + CBT), dependent on candidate count after registration
Total Questions: 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers, 50 out of 60 for General Test (choice of 10 questions)
Duration: 45 minutes for all test papers except Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, and General Tests (60 minutes)
Shift and Duration: Proposed three shifts in a day for Pen & paper mode, each about two hours duration
