DMRC Recruitment 2024
To address the immediate needs of DMRC and its associated projects within the Track Department, we are seeking applications from experienced, dynamic, and motivated candidates. These candidates should have relevant experience either from working with Indian Railways, CPSUs, or metro organizations, or should be retired from such positions. The following posts at the Supervisory level are available on a Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement Basis
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have experience in the construction and/or maintenance of Railway or Metro Track and must have worked for or retired from any government organization such as Railways, CPSUs, or Metro organizations. Relevant experience at a supervisory level in the specified pay scales is required. Current employees in Railways, CPSUs, or Metros will also be considered eligible if they opt for retirement through VRS or otherwise before joining DMRC.
For the position of Section Engineer/Track Supervisor:
- Candidates should be working in or retired from the CDA pay scale at Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 - 1,42,400) (pre-revised G.P. Rs. 4,600) as per the 7th CPC pay matrix, or the IDA pay scale of Rs. 46,000 - 1,45,000, on a regular basis, in any government organization, Railways, CPSUs, or Metro organizations. This includes service on deputation in the above pay scales.
- A total of 5 years’ experience at a supervisory level in ballastless or ballasted track works in the aforementioned organizations is required.
For the position of Junior Engineer/Track Supervisor:
- Candidates should be working in or retired from the CDA pay scale at Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400) (pre-revised G.P. Rs. 4,200) as per the 7th CPC matrix, or the IDA pay scale of Rs. 37,000 - 1,15,000, on a regular basis, in any government organization, Railways, CPSUs, or Metro organizations. This includes service on deputation in the above pay scales.
- A total of 5 years’ experience at a supervisory level in ballastless or ballasted track works in the aforementioned organizations is required.
Consolidated Salary
For the positions of Section Engineer (Track) and Junior Engineer (Track), the consolidated fees are as follows:
- Section Engineer (Track) (Post Code: 01/SE/C): Rs. 59,800/-
- Junior Engineer (Track) (Post Code: 02/JE/C): Rs. 45,400/- to Rs. 51,100/-
The selected candidates will receive the consolidated fees as specified in the advertisement.
Screening Process
- The selection process will include a Personal Interview and a Medical Fitness Examination.
- The process is designed to assess various aspects of the candidates' knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness.
- Candidates must successfully pass both the screening process and the medical examination to be considered for selection.
- Those who do not meet the medical standards will not be offered alternative employment, and the decision of the corporation regarding this matter will be final.
Application Procedure
- The deadline for submitting the completed application (along with relevant documents) via Speed Post or email is 17/09/2024. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will be rejected. DMRC will not be responsible for any loss or delay in postal deliveries.
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be posted on the DMRC website in the fourth week of September 2024 (tentatively), with interviews scheduled for the first week of October 2024 (tentatively), either online or offline. Detailed instructions and schedules for the interview will be available on the DMRC website.
- No individual communication will be sent by post to candidates. It is advised that candidates regularly check the DMRC website for updates and attend the interview with original copies of their testimonials.
- The final result is expected to be announced by the second week of October 2024 (tentatively).
- Eligible and interested candidates should apply using the application format provided and include all relevant documents supporting their qualifications, experience, and pay scale. Candidates currently employed in government organizations, CPSUs, or Metro organizations must submit their application through the proper channel, including copies of APARs for the last five years, and Vigilance and D&AR clearance using the proforma.
