GTRE, Bangalore, operating under the auspices of the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of aero gas turbine engines for defence applications. This pioneering organization is engaged in various projects covering disciplines such as Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Control Engineering, Computer Science, and Electronics.

Applications are invited online from Indian Nationals for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) at GTRE, Bangalore. Interested candidates must meet the educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria specified below:

Educational Qualifications

Must have a graduate degree in a professional course (B.E/B.Tech) from a recognized University/Institute.
The degree must be obtained in First Division (equivalent to an aggregate of 60% or more).
Candidates must possess a valid GATE score.
GATE scores from the last three years (GATE 2022, 2023, 2024) are acceptable.
Must have a post-graduate degree in a professional course (M.E/M.Tech) from a recognized University/Institute.
Both the graduate (B.E/B.Tech) and post-graduate (M.E/M.Tech) degrees must have been obtained in First Division (equivalent to an aggregate of 60% or more).
GATE scores from the last three years (GATE 2022, 2023, 2024) are acceptable.

Emoluments (Stipend)

For 03rd year (if upgraded to SRF)	Rs.42,000/- p.m	Rs.20,000/- per annum on reimbursement basis

Candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the fields along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list)
Candidates before filling the application form shall ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for the fellowship. If at any stage of selection or even after selection and joining, it comes to notice that the candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions or the facts stated are not true or the documents enclosed by the applicant are false/forged, the candidature / engagement / joining of such individual shall be withdrawn immediately without assigning any reason.
All applicants are required to bring their original document along with self-attested copy of documents mentioned below along with the signed printout of the application form during document verification.
Applications received by any other mode/ after the last date would not be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted.
