FSSAI Recruitment 2024
The FSSAI Recruitment 2024 seeks a Chairperson with a strong background in Food Science or Administration, holding or having held a position at least equivalent to Secretary to the Government of India. The role offers a fixed salary of Rs. 2,25,000 per month plus allowances, with a tenure of three years, extendable for another three years or until the age of 65.

Previous applications in response to an earlier advertisement will also be considered, and the government may consider candidates who did not apply through the advertisement.

Eligibility for FSSAI Recruitment 2024
- Applicants for selection to the office of Chairperson, FSSAI shall be persons of eminence in the field of Food Science or persons from Administration who have been associated with the subject and is either holding or have held a position not below the rank of Secretary to the Govt. of India.
- Relevant work experience related to Central/ State Regulatory Bodies would be a desirable qualification for the position.
Age limit and tenure for FSSAI Recruitment 2024
The Chairperson shall hold office for a term of three years from the date on which he/she enters upon the office and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further period of three years or till he/she attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.

- Applications are invited from citizens of India who fulfill the eligibility criteria in the given proforma.
- The applications already received against the advertisement No. CBC 17102/11/0021/2324 dated 8.07.2023 will be considered for the post.
- The proforma may also be downloaded from the website www.mohfw.gov.in or dopt.gov.in or fssai.gov.in.

- The closing date of receipt of application will be the 31.08.2024.
- Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date will not be considered.
- The Government of India will have the discretion to consider the candidature of any person who has not applied in response to newspaper advertisement.
