GAIL is inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals to fill various Non-Executive cadre positions at work-centres and units across different states in the country. The category-wise vacancies, including backlog vacancies, for each post are detailed below.

Essential Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering: Chemical/Petrochemical Technology, Mechanical/Production/Industrial Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation/Control, Civil – Minimum 60% marks required.
- Bachelor's Degree: Hindi Literature/Hindi with 55% marks (English required as a subject) and basic computer skills; B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, or B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks; B.Com with 55% marks and computer proficiency; BBA/BBS/BBM with 55% marks and computer proficiency.
- Master's Degree (M.Sc.): Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
- ITI Tradesmanship/National Apprenticeship Certificate: Relevant trades such as Electrical, Instrumentation, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist, Turner, Electronics, Telecommunication, with Matric pass.
- Intermediate in CA/ICWA or M.Com with 60% marks and computer proficiency; 10+2 with Fireman's Training and heavy vehicle driving license; ITI with Boiler Attendant Certificate or B.Sc. with Boiler Attendant Certificate.
Pay Scale
- Junior Engineer - Pay Scale: ₹35000-138000/-
- Foreman - Pay Scale : ₹29,000 – 1,20,000/-
- Jr. Superintendent - Pay Scale : ₹29,000 – 1,20,000/-
- Jr. Chemist - Pay Scale : ₹29,000 – 1,20,000/-
- Jr. Accountant - Pay Scale : ₹29,000 – 1,20,000/-
- Technical Assistant - Pay Scale: ₹ 24,500-90,000/-
- Operator - Pay Scale: ₹ 24,500-90,000/-
- Technician - Pay Scale: ₹ 24,500-90,000/
- Accounts Assistant - Pay Scale: ₹ 24,500-90,000/-
- Business Assistant - Pay Scale: ₹ 24,500-90,000/-
Pay and allowances consist of Basic Pay as applicable in the grade, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) at the applicable rates and perks & allowances under Cafeteria Approach. No protection of pay will be admissible to the Candidates joining GAIL in the abovementioned posts.
Place of Posting
Selected candidates may be posted at any of GAIL (India) Limited's installations, projects, or offices, or at any of its subsidiaries or joint ventures. They may also be deputed to government departments or other public sector undertakings (PSUs). The candidates may be assigned various roles and responsibilities based on the company’s business needs, including working in shift operations.
Application Fee
- Candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹50 (Rupees Fifty only) when submitting their online application.
- This fee excludes applicable convenience fees and taxes.
- Once paid, the application fee will not be refunded or held in reserve for any future exams or selections by GAIL (India) Ltd.
- SC, ST, and PwBD category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee, provided they submit a valid certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India at the time of document verification.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply online through the GAIL website (https://gailonline.com/CRApplyingGail.html). No other means or mode of application will be accepted.
- The application portal will be open from 11:00 AM on 08.08.2024 until 06:00 PM on 07.09.2024.
- Each candidate is allowed to apply for only one post. If multiple applications are submitted by a candidate, only the latest one will be considered for the recruitment process.
- No further correspondence on this matter will be entertained.
- After submitting the online application, candidates should download the Application Form generated by the system, which includes a unique Application Number.
- Candidates must ensure that all details provided in the online application are accurate.
- They can edit their information at any stage before submitting the form. However, once the form is submitted, it cannot be edited, so candidates are advised to review their application carefully before submission.
