Recruitment of a Project Manager for the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) under the Prime Minister's Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PMFME Scheme), funded by the Directorate of Industries Trade and Commerce (DoITC) through the Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB). The initial engagement is for one year, with the possibility of extension pending approval.
Eligibility Criteria
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Marketing Management, Natural Resource Management, or MBA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environment or Natural Science, along with demonstrated experience in project implementation and management.
- Must be a resident of Goa with a recent certificate proving 15 years of residence issued by the Competent Authority.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in spoken English and Konkani.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Specialized skills in Marketing of Natural Resources, Economic Valuation of Bio-resources, or Livelihood Management. Additional advantageous experience in drafting rules, regulations, and tender procedures.
- At least 3 years of documented experience and expertise in implementing and coordinating community-based marketing, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), or nature-based initiatives.

As per the approved guidelines, a Project Manager position for the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) under the Prime Minister's Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PMFME Scheme), funded by the Directorate of Industries Trade and Commerce (DoITC), is open for recruitment at the Goa State Biodiversity Board (GSBB) through a walk-in-interview.

- Duration: Initial period of one year, extendable based on approval
- Date and Time of Interview: 22.07.2024, starting from 09:30 am (Candidates must register between 09:30 am to 11:30 am; registrations after 11:30 am will not be accepted)
- Venue: Office of Member Secretary, Goa State Biodiversity Board, C/o Dept. of Science, Technology & Environment, Opp. Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez- Goa
Requirements for Candidates:
- Interested candidates should bring original and photocopies of documents supporting their educational qualifications, birth certificate, 15 years valid resident of Goa certificate, valid employment card, along with a copy of their bio-data.
- All copies must bear the statement "This certificate is a true copy of the original" and should be self-attested below this statement.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of relevant documents along with one latest passport-size photograph to the bio-data.
- No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for the interview.
Selection and Terms:
- Selected candidates will be expected to join immediately upon selection.
- The decision of the interview panel will be final and binding.
- If a selected candidate wishes to discontinue within one month of joining, one month's salary will be forfeited.
- If a candidate discontinues within 3 months of appointment, the next candidate in rank as per the interview panel may be considered for the opportunity. Beyond 3 months, a fresh advertisement will be issued.
