Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is one of Asia's largest aerospace companies and is governed under the management of the Indian Ministry of Defence. HAL's primary focus is on manufacturing, assembling, and overhauling aircraft, helicopters, engines, avionics, and accessories.

Posts Available: The vacancies are for various positions, predominantly Diploma Technicians and Operators across different categories.
Locations: The recruitment drive spans across multiple locations including HAL's Bangalore Complex, Tambaram (Tamil Nadu), Nal (Rajasthan), and Naliya (Gujarat).

Qualification Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation) or ITI in relevant trades from recognized institutions.
Minimum Marks: Applicants from UR/OBC-NCL/EWS categories must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, while candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories need at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for general category (UR/EWS) candidates is 28 years as on the last date for receipt of applications.
Relaxation: There is age relaxation provided as per Government norms: up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates, up to 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates, and additional relaxations for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Reservation and Disabilities

Reservation: The reservation for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories will be as per the Government of India directives.
PwBD Categories: The identified disabilities under PwBD categories include OL (One Leg), SDD/SID (Single Arm/Single Leg affected), SD/SI (Single Arm/Single Leg affected), and HoH (Hard of Hearing). Specific posts are earmarked for each disability category.

Tenure and Benefits

Engagement Period: Selected candidates will be engaged initially for a period of four years, which is extendable based on the performance and requirement of the organization.
Remuneration: The engagement includes a competitive package consisting of basic pay, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, perks, medical facilities, and annual increments as per company rules.

Selection Process

Written Test: Candidates will undergo a written test comprising sections on General Awareness, English & Reasoning, and Discipline-specific questions.
Document Verification: Based on the merit obtained in the written test, candidates will be called for document verification.
Medical Examination: Selected candidates will have to undergo a pre-employment medical examination conducted by HAL's medical board.
