Qualification
Candidates must hold a degree with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university, along with a two-year Master’s Degree, equivalent degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree in one of the following areas, also with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university:
Proficiency in computer applications such as SAP, MS Project, MS Office, etc., is also required.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates for the Executive Trainee position will undergo one year of training, during which they will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹50,000. If necessary, trainees may be required to work extra hours on closed holidays, for which they will receive an additional stipend of up to ₹3,000 per month.
Upon successful completion of the training, Executive Trainees will be considered for appointment as Assistant Managers in E-1 Grade, with a pay scale of ₹40,000 - 140,000 (with increments of 3%). The initial pay will be fixed at the start of this scale.
In addition to the basic pay, employees will be eligible for the Industrial Dearness Allowance as applicable, HRA at 27% of basic pay, perks up to 35% of basic pay, and other benefits including a Contributory Provident Fund, Accident Insurance coverage, Leave Encashment, and reimbursement of medical expenses under the Contributory Medical Insurance policy, in accordance with company rules.
Place of Posting
The posting will be at HCSL or any other HCSL units/project sites as determined by the company. Candidates may be transferred between different units or project sites based on project requirements.
The appointment to this position entails the obligation to serve in any department of HCSL, on-board ships, or at any of the units/work sites/projects undertaken, both within India and abroad, as required.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for the position is set at 27 years as of October 24, 2024, meaning applicants must be born on or after October 25, 1997. Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will be granted in accordance with Government of India guidelines, up to a maximum age of 37 years.
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹750 (non-refundable, plus applicable bank charges) must be paid using online payment options (Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, Wallets, UPI, etc.) accessible through the online application portal from September 25, 2024, to October 24, 2024. No other payment methods will be accepted.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempt from this fee and do not need to make any payment.
It is essential for all other applicants (i.e., those not belonging to SC/ST/PwBD) to pay the application fee as outlined above; their candidature will only be considered upon receipt of the application fee.
Selection Procedure
(i) Phase-I: Objective Type Test (60 marks)
This test will last for 60 minutes and include 60 multiple-choice questions, distributed as follows:
Each question carries one mark, and there will be no negative marking.
(ii) Phase-II: Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skills, and Personal Interview (40 marks)

The application process consists of two phases: One-Time Registration and Submission of the application for the applicable post.
Candidates should not submit more than one application, as the application once submitted will be considered final.
