Subject: Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961
Applications are being accepted from Indian citizens starting from 28.06.2024 for undergoing training at Taloja Copper Project, Hindustan Copper Limited, for Trade Apprentice positions under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961. Details are provided below.
Qualification Details
Fitter
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
- Technical Qualification: Should have successfully completed the ITI examination in the Fitter trade.
Electrician
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
- Technical Qualification: Should have successfully completed the ITI examination in the Electrician trade.
Welder (Gas and Electric)
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed the 8th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
- Technical Qualification: Should have successfully completed the ITI examination in the Welder (Gas & Electric) trade.
Age Limit
Candidates applying should not exceed 21 years of age as of the cut-off date. There is a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates, in accordance with government guidelines.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected based on a written test (subject knowledge) conducted at Taloja Copper Project. In cases where two or more candidates achieve equal marks, preference will be given to the candidate who is older in age.
- Candidates from Maharashtra will be given preference. It is important to note that candidates called for the written test must arrange for their own accommodation, as the company does not provide accommodation facilities.
How to Apply
- Candidates are strongly advised to thoroughly review the complete advertisement for detailed information regarding educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria before proceeding with the online application submission.
- Candidates must register for apprenticeship on the Government of India portal (www.apprenticeship.gov.in).
- The unique registration number generated on this website should be correctly entered in the designated field in the application form.
- Completed applications in the prescribed format, along with self-attested copies of certificates/documents, original certificates for verification, and two additional passport-size photographs, should be submitted through Speed Post/Registered AD to the Office of Junior Manager (HR), Hindustan Copper Limited, Taloja Copper Project, E33-36, MIDC, Taloja – 410208. The last date for submission is 31/07/2024.
- Candidates are advised to maintain active email IDs and mobile numbers throughout the engagement process.
- All communications will be sent to the email IDs provided by the candidates in their application forms.
- The decisions made by the management will be final and binding on all candidates regarding eligibility criteria, acceptance or rejection of applications, selection mode, cancellation of the selection process, etc.
- No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
