HPCET Counselling 2024
HPCET Counselling 2024 is the process where candidates register, verify documents, and choose courses for admission to various engineering institutes under Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Starting from June 12, 2024, registration ends on June 27, 2024, followed by document verification.
Candidates can participate based on their HPCET or JEE Main scores, with seat allocation depending on rank, category, and seat availability. It's crucial to carry essential documents like qualifying exam certificates and domicile proof. Successful candidates must report to their allocated institute as per the schedule to complete admission formalities.
Registration Process
- Started on June 12, 2024, on himtu.ac.in
- Candidates must register by June 27, 2024
- Requires basic details like name, date of birth, etc.
- Unique registration number provided after successful registration
Documents Required
- Passing certificate of qualifying examination
- Marks-sheet from the Board/University
- JEE Main 2024 scorecard (if applicable)
- Date of birth proof (Matriculation/Higher Secondary Certificates)
- Character certificate from the last attended institution
- Bonafide/Domicile certificate (if applicable)
- Reserved category certificate (if applicable)
- Physically Challenged certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme)
- Affidavit attested by Executive Magistrate (for Beti Hai Anmol Scheme)
- Domicile certificate for Kashmiri Migrants (if applicable)
- Medical Fitness Certificate for Yoga Students
Counselling Procedure
- Registration on the official website
- Payment of counseling fee (required for JEE Main candidates only)
- Submission of filled application form to specified address
- Verification of documents at designated centers
- Choice filling for preferred institutes and courses
- Seat allotment based on rank, category, and choices filled
- Reporting to the allotted institute within specified dates
