Qualification

  • Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed M.Sc in Home Science from a recognized university, with specialization in Food and Nutrition.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation level or higher education.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for the position must meet the following age criteria:

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Maximum age: 40 years

These age limits apply as of the last date of submission of applications to the Commission, which is July 30, 2024. Candidates must ensure they fall within this age range to be eligible for consideration.

Application Fee

  • Female candidates of GEN/SC/BC-A/BC-B/EWS category in Haryana: Rs. 250/-
  • Persons with Disabilities category candidates (with at least 40% disability) in Haryana: Nil
  • Candidates who do not appear for the recruitment test will not receive a refund of the fee.
  • Applications that do not include the prescribed fee (unless a fee remission is claimed) will be rejected outright.
  • Once paid, the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Furthermore, the fee cannot be reserved or carried forward for any other examination or selection process.

Selection Process

  • In the event of a large number of applications, the Commission will use various shortlisting criteria to ensure that only a reasonable number of candidates are called for interviews. These criteria may include:
  • Percentage of marks obtained by candidates in the minimum educational qualification specified in the advertisement.
  • Percentage of marks in different educational qualifications, with weights assigned by the Commission.
  • Possession of desirable qualifications, or any combination thereof if multiple desirable qualifications are listed.
  • Attainment of higher educational qualifications beyond the minimum/essential requirements stated in the advertisement.
  • Accumulated experience in the relevant field that exceeds the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
  • Consideration of experience gained either before or after acquiring the minimum/essential qualifications.
  • Conducting a Recruitment Test to assess candidates' knowledge and skills.
  • Candidates are advised to provide comprehensive details of all their qualifications and experience relevant to the position.
  • This ensures that they are considered fully for shortlisting based on the established criteria.
  • By disclosing all qualifications and relevant experience, candidates enhance their chances of meeting the shortlisting requirements set forth by the Commission.

  • No other methods of application submission will be entertained.
  • The deadline for submitting online applications is the closing date, i.e., July 30, 2024, until 11:55 PM.
  • Eligible candidates will receive an e-Admit Card well before any scheduled written tests. The e-Admit Card can be downloaded from the website http://hpsc.gov.in/en-us/.
  • Please note that no Admit Card will be sent via postal mail.
  • Candidates must possess all necessary certificates and documents supporting their educational qualifications, experience, age, domicile, caste, category, etc., on or before the closing date.
  • Certificates issued after the closing date will not be accepted by the Commission.
  • Any qualification not claimed or mentioned by the candidate in the online application form will not be considered by the Commission.
