Position Available:

Project Research Scientist –II (Non-medical)
Number of Positions: 01

Job Description:

Conduct immunological work related to cell culture, animal experimentation, and field studies on PFAS exposure.
Perform necropsies, tissue preservation, and processing for downstream applications.

Qualifications:

Essential

Post Graduate degree in fields like Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related life science disciplines with three years of experience. Alternatively, a Ph.D. in the mentioned subjects.
Second-class PG degree with a Ph.D. and three years of experience.
First-class engineering graduate degree of four years in Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Sciences with three years of experience.

Desirable:

Proficiency in molecular biology techniques like nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting, and Immunohistochemistry.
Experience in handling automated biochemical analysis platforms and ELISAs.
Preference for candidates with experience in mouse and rat handling.
Familiarity with cell culture techniques, immunological assays, and sophisticated molecular biology instruments.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 40 years on the date of the interview.

Salary: Rs. 67,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Tenure: Initially for one year and likely to continue until the project's completion.
