The Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) is a company established under the Companies Act, 1956, and jointly promoted by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), its concessionaires, and financial institutions.
The company was created to implement and manage an efficient Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system on national highways and to deploy Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to improve highway management and traffic conditions. As a non-government entity that follows the IDA pay scale, IHMCL is inviting applications for various positions on a lateral induction basis.

Educational qualification and experience
Vice President (HR & Administration):
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA with HR specialization from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 20 years in HR management, personnel management, or administration in large corporates, public sector, or government bodies.
Assistant Vice President (Finance):
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) from ICAI or ICMAI. Desirable: CFA, CMA, or MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 18 years in financial management or related fields in large corporates, public sector, or government bodies.
Senior Manager (ITS):
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Data Science, AI) with 60% marks.
- Experience: 15 years in IT, focusing on Toll Management Systems (TMS), Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS), or Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
Manager (ITS):
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Data Science, AI) with 60% marks.
- Experience: 10 years in IT, with experience in TMS, ATMS, or ITS.
Manager (HR & Administration):
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (60% marks) and Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA with HR specialization.
- Experience: 10 years in HR management or administration in large corporates, public sector, or government bodies.
Manager (Banking):
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or related field (60% marks). Desirable: MBA in Finance.
- Experience: 10 years in fintech, banking, or financial management in large corporates, public sector, or government bodies.
Age Limit
- Vice President (HR & Administration): Not exceeding 50 years
- Assistant Vice President (Finance): Not exceeding 48 years
- Senior Manager (ITS# ): Not exceeding 45 years
- Manager (ITS# ): Not exceeding 40 years
- Manager (HR & Administration): Not exceeding 40 years
- Manager (Banking): Not exceeding 40 years
