Welcome to the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT JAM) 2024! This prestigious examination, organized by IIT Madras, marks an important step for candidates aspiring to pursue Masters programs in various disciplines. The second admission list was released on June 11, 2024, and candidates can check their status on the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.

For those shortlisted, the deadline to pay the seat booking fee is June 16, 2024. The counseling process includes subsequent admission lists on June 21 and July 5, with seat booking deadlines on June 25 and July 8, respectively. Date of Counseling

The counseling for IIT JAM 2024 will happen in two stages. For the third admission list, the counseling will start on June 21, and candidates have until June 25 to pay the seat booking fee.

Then, for the fourth and final admission list, counseling will commence on July 5, and candidates must complete their seat booking payments by July 8. After this process, offer letters can be downloaded from July 12 onwards.

Fee Details

For candidates who have been allocated seats in the IIT JAM 2024 admissions, there is a fee to confirm their seats. If you belong to the General or Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories, the fee is Rs 10,000.

However, if you are from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Physically Handicapped (PH) categories, the fee is Rs 5,000. Make sure to pay the fee before the deadline to secure your seat!

Visit the official website of IIT JAM: jam.iitm.ac.in
Look for the section titled "Admission List" or "Check Admission Status".
Enter your login credentials provided during the application process.
Once logged in, you will see options to view the admission lists.
Click on the relevant link for the second admission list.
Check if your name appears on the list.
If selected, follow the instructions to confirm your admission and pay the seat booking fee within the specified deadline.
Keep track of subsequent admission lists and follow the same process if your name appears.
