Once the application is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn, and the fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances, nor can it be transferred to any other engagement process.
Selection Procedure
- Selection for the apprenticeships will be based on an Online Examination, a local language test where applicable, and personal interaction if deemed necessary by the Bank. Meeting the eligibility criteria alone does not guarantee an invitation to the Online Examination or personal interaction.
- The examination will last for 90 minutes. All candidates who have paid the examination fee will receive a notification from the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) about the date and time of the exam.
- Candidates must use their own camera-enabled desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone to take the exam at the specified time. They must also present the same ID proof used during the application process for image capture. Except for PwBD candidates, no one else is allowed in the vicinity during the exam. Detailed guidelines will be provided by the exam conducting agency.
- Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate percentage as determined by the Bank, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects. Selection will be merit-based, following reservation rules. In the event of a tie, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
- Results for qualified candidates and the final selected list will be published on the website. A waitlist, categorized by state, will be maintained for one year from the date of the results or until the next engagement exercise. Candidates from the waitlist may be called if there are any non-joinings, depending on the availability of qualified candidates.
- Candidates applying for positions in specific states must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding one of the local languages of that state, as specified during the application process. The local language test will be conducted after the online examination, during the document verification stage.
- Candidates who fail the local language test will not be considered for apprenticeship unless they provide a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet or certificate indicating that they studied the specified local language, in which case they will be exempt from the test.
