In 2024, IRCON International Limited, a part of the Ministry of Railways, is seeking qualified individuals for the role of Chief General Manager/Mechanical at its Corporate Office in New Delhi. This position offers one vacancy, providing an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates.

This opportunity is open to IRSME Officers on the SAG/NFSAG scale. The Ministry of Railways has granted IRCON exemption from the immediate absorption rule, allowing officers to apply on a deputation basis. Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

IRSME Officer working in SAG/NFSAG scale

Experience:

Experience in preparation of specifications, tendering, procurement, and erection and commissioning of machinery and plant in a Railway Workshop or a Production Unit.
Extensive experience and requisite knowledge in the same field.
The number of years of experience and nature of experience of the officer in the specific area will be taken into consideration.

Job Requirements:

Preparation of bids and tenders.
Execution of projects at various project sites.

Skills:

Good communication skills are essential.

Age Limit:

For SAG level: Not exceeding fifty-eight years on the closing date of receipt of application.
For Below SAG level: Not exceeding fifty-six years on the closing date of receipt of application.

Selection Process

Candidates for the Chief General Manager/Mechanical role at IRCON International Limited will be evaluated based on their qualifications, relevant experience, and communication skills. IRSME Officers in SAG/NFSAG scale with experience in machinery procurement and commissioning are preferred.
