ITBP Recruitment 2024
ITBP is inviting online applications from male and female Indian citizens for the positions of Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) in Group 'B', Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist), and Head Constable (Midwife) in Group 'C'. These are non-gazetted and non-ministerial roles, initially temporary but likely to become permanent.
Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and age criteria. Selected candidates may be assigned to serve anywhere in India or abroad. Upon appointment, they will be governed by the ITBPF Act, 1992, Rules 1994, and other applicable regulations.

- Assistant Sub Inspector: 05

Salary Details
- Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse): Level-6 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 35400-112400/- (as per 7th CPC).
- Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist): Pay Level- 5 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 29,200-92,300/- (as per 7th CPC)
- Head Constable (Midwife): Level-4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25500-81100/- (as per 7th CPC).
Qualification
Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse)
- 10+2 examination pass from a recognized board or university or equivalent. Having passed the examination in General Nursing and Mid-wifery. Registered with Central Nursing Council or State Nursing council.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist)
- Pass in the Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with physics, chemistry and biology as subject from a recognized Board or equivalent. Diploma in Pharmacy from any Central/State Government institution or any institution recognized by Central/ State Government. Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Head Constable (Midwife)
- Passed 10th examination from a recognized Board or equivalent. Passed Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery Course From a recognized institution. Registered in Nursing Council of Central Government or State Government.
Age Limit
- Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse): 21 to 30 Years
- Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist): 20 to 28 years
- Head Constable (Midwife): 18 to 25 years
