JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2024

JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2024 is the process through which students can secure admission to BE or Integrated BE (Chemical)-MBA programs. Registration for counseling is open until June 23, with a counseling fee of Rs 2,800 for general candidates and Rs 1,400 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Eligibility criteria include obtaining an All India Rank in JEE (Main)-2024 Paper 1 and completing the 12th exam with proficiency in five subjects.

The counseling schedule includes document verification from June 24 to 30, choice filling starting on July 4 for Round 1, and subsequent rounds extending into July. Candidates can lock their choices, participate in seat allotment, and withdraw if needed according to the outlined dates.

Eligibility

Here are the eligibility criteria for JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2024:

JEE (Main)-2024 Paper 1 Rank: Candidates need to obtain an All India Rank in the JEE (Main)-2024 Paper 1.
Academic Qualification:
- Candidates must have completed their 12th examination or equivalent.
- They should have proficiency in five subjects: Language (like Hindi, English, Punjabi, etc.), Physics, Mathematics, one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational Subject, and an additional subject.
- Alternatively, candidates may have completed a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Schedule of Counselling

Last Date for Registration:

Candidates need to register for counseling by June 23.

Document Verification:

This step takes place from June 24 to June 30, when candidates' documents are verified.

Release of Eligibility Status for Sports Category:

The eligibility status for sports category applicants will be announced on June 26.

Objection Removal (if any):

Candidates can address any objections regarding their eligibility by June 27.

Revised List of Eligible Sports Category Applicants:

A revised list of eligible sports category applicants will be published on June 29.

Final List of Eligible Candidates for Choice Filling:

The final list of eligible candidates for choice filling, specifically for reserved categories including the sports category, will be displayed on July 4, 2024.
