JIPMER Recruitment 2024 is seeking candidates for two positions: Senior Research Fellow and Project Assistant. The Senior Research Fellow role requires a Master’s degree in Public Health and at least one year of experience in community-based projects, data management, and report writing. The Project Assistant position requires a three-year bachelor’s degree in Paramedical Sciences, Life Sciences, B.Pharm, or B.Sc (Nursing) along with one year of clinical trial experience. Both roles demand strong computer skills for managing patient-level data.
The tenure for these positions is twelve months, with the possibility of extension. The appointment is temporary and offers consolidated remuneration without additional benefits. Candidates must report to the Department of Nephrology on 20-08-2024 for document verification and will be shortlisted based on a written test followed by an interview. Applicants must be available to join by 26-08-2024.
Minimum Educational Qualification
Senoir Research Fellow:
- A Master degree in public health
- Community based project/Field data collection or survey experience not less than one year
- Data cleaning & data management, analysis, interpretation and report writing
- Computer Skills with data entry of patient level database
Project Assistant
- A three year bachelor’s degree in Paramedical sciences/ Life Sciences / B.Pharm/ B.Sc (Nursing)
- One year of clinical trial experience
- Computer Skills with data entry of patient level database
Terms and conditions for JIPMER Recruitment 2024
- Tenure for post is Twelve Months, which may be extended for the full project duration. This position will be purely on temporary/contractual basis for the specified period of time and based on project.
- Applicants with research experience, good communication skills in Tamil and basic computer skills will be preferred
- The remuneration is consolidated; Benefit of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are not applicable.
- The appointment can be terminated at any time with one month’s notice without assigning any reason or if the person's work is considered unsatisfactory by the competent authority.
- If the appointee wishes to resign his/her job, he/she has to serve one month's notice or remit one month's salary or pay thereof, as the case may be proportionate to the shortfall in the notice period
- The appointee shall be on a full time appointment for this project and shall not accept any other assignment nor engage himself/herself, paid or otherwise during the period of appointment.
- No TA/DA will be admissible to appear in the interview.
- Only candidates who can join by 26-08-2024 need to apply, as the positions are to be filled on an urgent basis.
