JOSAA Seat Allotment Result 2024
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) announced the 2024 Round 1 seat allotment results on June 20. Candidates can check their results on the official website, josaa.nic.in, using their application number and date of birth or password. Those allotted a seat must complete online reporting, pay the acceptance fee, and upload the required documents between June 20 and 24 to secure their seat.
The acceptance fee is Rs 17,500 for reserved categories and Rs 35,000 for general category candidates. Subsequent rounds of seat allotment will continue until July 17, followed by the CSAB counseling for remaining NIT+ system seats from July 17 to 24.

JOSAA
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is an agency set up by the Indian Ministry of Education in 2018 to manage and regulate the admission process for 110 higher education institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutions. JoSAA coordinates the seat allocation process to ensure that students are admitted based on their rank, preferences, and category, making the process fair and transparent.
