Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, was established to implement and manage the Kochi Metro Rail project. We are seeking a Corporate Communications/Public Relations professional with a strong academic background to join our team as Assistant Manager (Public Relations) at the E2 Level.
Eligibility
- Candidates must hold a full-time regular graduation degree in any discipline, along with a two-year full-time regular postgraduate degree or diploma in Journalism or Mass Communication from a recognized institution or university.
- A minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably within a government or public sector unit (PSU), is required.
- The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in managing press and media relations, organizing press conferences, and liaising with local self-government bodies such as panchayats, municipalities, and corporations, as well as other stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with experience in handling press releases, content creation, writing articles, and producing news content for print, visual, and social media.
- Additionally, the candidate should be adept at corporate image building across online, social, and digital media platforms.
Maximum Age Limit
Maximum Age Limit: As of September 1, 2024, the maximum age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per reservation rules. Age, qualifications, and experience will be evaluated as of September 1, 2024.
Selection Process
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified regarding the written test and/or interview, with communication sent exclusively to the email address registered with KMRL by the applicants. No other means of communication will be used. Simply meeting the minimum qualifications and experience does not guarantee any candidate the right to be shortlisted, called for a written test and/or interview, or selected for the position.
