The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level MBA entrance exam organized by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The MAT is held in February, May, September, and December, with multiple sessions for each test.
For the May 2024 session, the MAT will be available in three formats: One Paper-Based Test (PBT), One Computer-Based Test (CBT), and Three Internet-Based Tests (IBTs).

Eligibility
Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply for the MAT. Final-year students of graduate courses can also apply.
Application Fees
To register for the MAT, go online to https://mat.aima.in and pay using a Credit Card, Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm wallet. The fee details are as follows:

How to Apply?
You can find the application forms for the MAT Paper-Based Test (PBT), Computer-Based Test (CBT), and Internet-Based Test (IBT) on the official AIMA MAT website. Here’s how to apply:
- Go to the AIMA MAT website: mat.aima.in
- Enter your basic details and create a password.
- Click on 'register'.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Use the OTP to verify your phone number and log in.
- Pay the application fee using a debit/credit card or net banking.
- Select your exam mode and choose two test cities (for PBT/CBT).
- Fill in the remaining required fields.
- Upload your photo and signature in the specified format.
- Choose five institutes where AIMA will send your MAT score.
- Download and save a copy of the completed application form after submission.
Exam Pattern
The MAT exam has five sections, each containing thirty questions. You need to answer a total of 150 questions within 120 minutes. Here is the test structure:
