Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL), a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh is implementing Bhopal Metro Rail Project & Indore Metro Rail Project in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Organization intends to appoint the following official: -

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized university or reputable institution.
  • Strong academic record and sound technical knowledge required.
  • Minimum of twenty (20) years of service in the Executive Cadre.
  • Experience in Railway Rolling stock, Railway Electrification, or Railway Signaling and Telecommunication preferred.

Desirable

  • MBA or Masters' in Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  • Experience in construction & maintenance of similar Metro/Urban Transport Systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of coordination and interface within Railway / Metro Rail related disciplines such as track, signaling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.
  • Experience of rail based urban transportation projects on international bidding contract basis, i.e. planning, preparing Bid Docs, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, Post Commissioning, Arbitration etc.

Job Description

  • Director (System) shall be a member of Board of Directors and will report to the Managing Director.
  • He/ She will be responsible for the planning and formulating policy related to design, procurement, implementation and maintenance of rolling stock, air conditioning, electrical & mechanical substations, traction power supply, E&M in stations and for the Metro Projects and will advise Managing Director in all the system related matters.
  • He/ She will also be responsible for Project management, procurement of system related packages, quality assurance and safety  pertaining to implementation of the project.
  • He/She shall also be responsible for planning future augmentations based on traffic need and also on account of extensions as mandated by the Government.

Selection Process

  • A Committee will scrutinize all the applications received for the post of Director (System) and only the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by the Selection Committee for preparing a panel of the candidates for the post.
  • The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and no correspondence on the decision of the Committee will be entertained in this regard.
  • The candidates shortlisted for the interview will be informed by e-mail: hr.mpmrcl@mp.gov.in and will be eligible for reimbursement of to and fro economy air fare or AC-2 tier Railway fare.
