Eligibility Criteria

For Under Secretary:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Law, Administration, Policy Making, etc.

For Section Officer:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: Experience in Legal Aid, Administration & Establishment.

For Assistant Librarian:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized university or institute.
Experience: Two years of professional experience in a library under central or state government or autonomous statutory organization or public sector undertaking.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applying to the NALSA Recruitment 2024 is 56 years. This means that candidates should be below 56 years of age at the time of application to be eligible for the positions of Under Secretary, Section Officer, and Assistant Librarian.
