Educational Qualification
General Manager (Technical):
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 14 years in Group-A service, including 9 years in implementing Infrastructure Sector Projects related to National/State Highways.
Deputy General Manager (Technical):
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 6 years in implementing Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways, Roads, and Bridges.
Manager (Technical):
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 3 years in implementing Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways, Roads, and Bridges.
Age Limit
- General Manager (Technical): For deputation: Not exceeding 56 years
- Deputy General Manager (Technical): For deputation: Not exceeding 56 years
- Manager (Technical): For deputation: Not exceeding 56 years
Pay Scale
- General Manager (Technical): Level-13 (Rs.123100-215900) / (pre-revised) PB-4 (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay Rs.8,700/-
- Deputy General Manager (Technical): Level-12 (Rs.78800-209200) / (prerevised) PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.7600/-
- Manager (Technical): Level-11 (Rs.67,700- 2,08,700) / (pre-revised) PB-3 (Rs. 15,600- 39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-

Procedure to apply
Accessing the Application Link:
- Visit the NHAI website at http://www.nhai.gov.in using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Navigate to About Us → Vacancies → Current.
- Find and click on the relevant recruitment advertisement, then select ‘Online application’.
Registration:
- Click on “APPLY” to be redirected to the NHAI portal.
- Create a registration by providing:
- User ID (any preferred ID)
- Password
- Name
- Phone number
- Email ID
- Aadhar card number (optional)
Login:
- Log in with the User ID and password received via email.
Filling the Application Form:
- Select the post you wish to apply for.
- Complete the application form, noting that all fields are mandatory.
- Enter your date of birth and retirement age; the system will auto-calculate and populate the information.
- Upload scanned copies of your color passport-size photograph, digital signature, educational/professional qualifications, and promotion/appointment orders in ‘jpg’, ‘jpeg’, ‘png’, ‘gif’, or ‘pdf’ formats, with each file not exceeding 1 MB.
- Add educational and experience details in the provided boxes and click “Add to List”. Verify that the details appear correctly in the table below.
Review and Submission:
- Click ‘Preview’ to review the filled information.
- Make any necessary changes.
- Click ‘Final Submit’ to save your information.
- After submission, you will receive a ‘reference number’ and have the option to download your application form.
Deadline for Submission:
- The online application must be submitted by 23.09.2024 (6:00 PM).
