Oil India Limited (OIL) is seeking to empanel two Domain Experts with a minimum of 25 years of experience in Drilling and Workover operations, including at least 20 years specifically in Fishing operations. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply for engagement as Domain Experts on a call basis at Oil India Limited.

Educational Qualification

Graduation in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Petroleum Engineering from a reputed national or international institute.

Experience Required:

Retired from at least Grade G (General Manager) or equivalent position from OIL or any other PSU engaged in E&P activities under Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
Minimum 25 years of field operations experience, including:
Minimum 5 years in Drilling/Workover operations.
Minimum 20 years in Fishing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan the course of action for stuck string or recovering fish left in the hole by studying the well history.
Plan, supervise, and monitor back off operations for stuck string.
Design fishing string ensuring proper selection and placement of Jar.
Plan, supervise, and monitor fishing operations.
Physically inspect the condition of all tools.
Coordinate with relevant personnel for timely availability of resources.
Provide overall supervision of safety aspects during back off/fishing operations.
Plan and supervise during the development phase of Fishing cell.

Salary Details

Levels (Illustrative Designation)	Honorarium
Director One level below Board-EDs	Rs.10,000/- per day
Two levels below Board CGM/GGM/GMs Professor or equivalent	Rs.9,000/- per day
Three levels below Board GMs Associate Professors or equivalent	Rs.9,000/- per day
Four levels below Board DGMs Assistant professor or equivalent	Rs.8,000/- per day

Place of Posting

Drilling/Work over locations operated from Field Headquarter, Duliajan, Assam. However, he/she would be required to travel to any location of OIL in India depending on job requirement from time to time.
