ONGC Mehsana Asset is inviting applications from retired ONGC executives specializing in Production, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Chemistry disciplines. The positions available are for Junior Consultants and Associate Consultants to join the Surface Team for a duration of one year.
Vacancy Details
Required Qualification and Experience
- Educational qualifications accepted include ITI, diploma, degree, or higher.
- For the Production discipline, retired ONGC executives from Production/Mechanical disciplines at E1 to E5 levels are sought, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Surface Team Operations.
- In the Electrical discipline, retired ONGC executives at E1 to E3 levels are eligible, with a requirement of 10 years of experience in Surface Team Operations. Additionally, applicants must possess a valid "Electrical Supervisory Certificate" at the time of the interview.
- For the Mechanical discipline, retired ONGC executives at E1 to E3 levels are required, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Surface Team Operations.
- In the Instrumentation discipline, retired ONGC executives at E1 to E3 levels are sought, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Surface Team Operations.
- In the Chemistry discipline, retired ONGC executives at E1 to E3 levels are eligible, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Surface Team Operations.
Monthly Salary
Engagement of retired E4-E5 level executives: In case of non-availability of retired E1-E3 level executives, E4-E5 level retired employees be considered for engagement as Junior Consultants, with capping of remunerations to that of E3 level consultants based on their consents of applicant.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates will be assessed based on three parameters:
- Working experience in ONGC (10 marks)
- Educational qualification (10 marks)
- Written test (60 marks)
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- To proceed to the interview stage, candidates must secure at least 27 marks out of a total of 80 (which is 33.33%).
Interview Stage:
- Candidates who meet the minimum qualifying criteria will be called for a personal interview (PI).
- The minimum qualifying marks for the interview are 7 out of 20 (which is also 33.33% of the maximum marks).
Written Test Details:
- The written test consists of 60 marks, with 15 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying 4 marks.
- The test will be conducted in pen-and-paper format.
- Question papers will vary by discipline and will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
- Topics covered include general awareness about ONGC, operational safety, and questions related to surface production processes.
Question Paper Content:
- The MCQs in the written test will cover topics specific to ONGC, operational safety, and surface production processes.
- The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi.
Communication of Results:
- Shortlisted candidates will receive further details about the date, venue, and reporting time for the written test and interview via email.
