Applications are invited from eligible candidates to create a panel for five (05) Medical Consultant (MC) positions on a contract basis for three (03) years at various dispensaries of the Reserve Bank of India in Nagpur. The posts include 03 Unreserved (UR), 01 Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 01 Other Backward Class (OBC) positions, with fixed hourly remuneration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the Allopathic system of medicine.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Medical Practitioner in hospitals or clinics.
- Post Graduate Degree: Applicants with a post-graduate degree in General Medicine are also eligible.
- Location: The applicant must have a clinic/dispensary or residence within 10-15 kms of any of the Bank's dispensaries listed.
- Remuneration: Fixed based on actual duty hours performed, with an all-inclusive payment.
Remuneration
- Hourly Rate: Fixed at ₹1000 per hour for the entire 3-year contract period.
- Monthly Payment: The fixed remuneration will be paid monthly.
- Conveyance Expenses: ₹1000 per month will be allocated for conveyance expenses.
- Superannuation Benefits: No pension, provident fund, or gratuity will be provided.
- Leave and Perquisites: No leave, perquisites, or additional facilities will be offered.
- Public Holidays: If required to work on public holidays, compensation of ₹1000 per hour will be provided.
- Taxation: Income tax will be deducted at source as per applicable rates and government notifications.
Modalities for selection
a) Interview Process:
- The Bank will conduct interviews for shortlisted candidates.
- The Bank reserves the right to adjust eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates invited for the interview.
- Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview.
- The Bank will not correspond with candidates who are not shortlisted for the interview.
b) Medical Examination:
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination as per prescribed norms.
- The cost of the medical examination/tests must be borne by the applicants.
- Selection is subject to the verification of documents and medical fitness.
c) Appointment Conditions:
- Candidates selected for the panel will be appointed as vacancies arise, contingent on medical fitness and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Contract and Code of Conduct.
