Position with Vacancies
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
GM (Civil/ Ports)
- Postgraduate degree in Port Planning, Ocean Engineering, Marine Structures, Civil Engineering with a focus on Marine Structures, Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 17 years of experience in Port Planning, Development, Port Upgradation, modernizing projects, Breakwaters, Wharf, Berthing jetty, Dredging, and reclamation.
AGM (Marine Structural Engineer)
- Full-time Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Postgraduate degree in Ocean Structures, Offshore Structures, or a related field.
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in Port Planning, design of Breakwaters, Wharf, Berthing jetty, Ro-Ro jetty, Slipway, Offshore platforms, etc.
AGM (IWT Sector Expert)
- Full-time Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field OR Full-time Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
- Overall experience of 14 years with a minimum of 10 years in Ports & Harbor, IWT Terminal planning, IWT Infrastructure planning, and development of physical activities for operation.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: Applicants should not exceed 55 years of age.
- Cut-off Date for Age Calculation: Age will be calculated as of the last date of application, which is 19th August 2024.
- Eligible categories including EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), OBC (NCL) (Other Backward Classes - Non Creamy Layer), PWD (Persons with Disabilities), Ex-SM (Ex-Servicemen), and J&K Domicile will receive reservations, relaxations, and concessions as per government regulations.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit for OBC (NCL), SC, and ST candidates will be provided against reserved positions according to existing government orders.
- PWD candidates with a disability of not less than 40% will be eligible for PWD benefits.
- Such PWD candidates will receive a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit.
Salary Details
Selection Process
- Shortlisted/eligible candidates from the Document Scrutiny/Verification will proceed to the Interview stage.
- RITES Ltd. reserves the right to determine the number of candidates shortlisted for the selection process.
- The Interview may be conducted online.
- Interview will carry a weightage of 100% in the selection process.
- Technical & Professional proficiency will constitute 65% of the interview score.
- Personality, Communication & Competency will constitute 35% of the interview score
- Candidates belonging to UR/EWS categories must score a minimum of 60% marks in the Interview.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD candidates, applying against reserved posts, must score a minimum of 50% marks in the Interview.
- There is no minimum qualifying mark requirement in aggregate.
- Candidates fulfilling eligibility conditions will be shortlisted for the Interview based on their application.

- Upon submission, the system will generate a unique 'Registration No.' for future communication.
- Carefully and accurately fill in "Identity Proof" details required for the application.
- Submit the application after completing all necessary details in the "Fill/ Modify Application Form" section.
- It's advisable to retain a copy of the submitted Application Form and carry it during the selection process.

- High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth
- Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications and statements of marks for all qualifications (Xth, XIIth, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation as applicable)
- EWS/SC/ST/OBC Certificate in the prescribed format by Government of India (if applicable)
- Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving license, Aadhaar Card, etc.)
- PAN Card
- Proof of different periods of experience as claimed in the Application Form (if applicable)
- Any other document in support of your candidature
- PWD Certificate as per latest format (if applicable)
