RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Service) is recruiting for the positions of General Manager or Group General Manager, based in Gurgaon. According to the 7th CPC structure, officers at Level-13 with less than 18 years of Group 'A' service will be designated as General Managers, while those at Levels-13 and 14 with 18 years of Group 'A' service will be designated as Group General Managers.
The normal deputation tenure is three years, extendable based on performance and need. Applicants must apply online via the RITES website, generating a 'Registration No.' which must be included in the printed and signed application along with a detailed CV. Applications should be forwarded by the respective administrative officer and include No Objection, Vigilance/DAR clearance, and details of penalties, along with ACRs/APARs for the last five years.
Submissions to the Railway Board are required at least 7 days before the vacancy notice's deadline. All applications must be received within 45 days from the vacancy notice date. Pay Scale
Under the 7th CPC structure, officers at Level-13 who have less than 18 years of Group 'A' service will be designated as General Managers. Officers at Levels-13 and 14 with 18 years of Group 'A' service will be designated as Group General Managers. According to Railway Board guidelines, these employees are entitled to parent pay along with deputation allowance and any other perks applicable during their deputation.

Gurgaon The normal tenure of deputation shall be 3 (three) years, which may be extended depending upon the requirement and performance.
Mode of Application
Applicants must apply online using the registration format available in the Career Section of the RITES website at http://www.rites.com. Upon submission, the system will generate a 'Registration No.' on the online form.
This form, including the registration number, must be printed, signed, and submitted along with the application in the prescribed format and a detailed CV.
Applications should be sent through the respective administrative officer (HOD) and duly forwarded by the Railway Board, including No Objection, Vigilance/DAR clearance, and details of any penalties imposed during the applicant's service, along with ACRs/APARs for the past five years. The applicant must also provide their application in the prescribed format and a detailed CV.
According to Railway Board's letters No. 2018/E(0)I/41/1 dated 08.02.2023 and 13.04.2023, eligible officers must submit their applications to the Railway Board at least 7 days before the last date of the vacancy notice to obtain approval from the Competent Authority for submission to the borrowing organization.
The forwarded application, along with all required documents, must be received within 45 days from the date of the vacancy notice.
