Job Description and Responsibilities
The Director (Personnel & Administration) is a key member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman & Managing Director. Responsibilities include managing industrial relations, administration, and developing human resources strategies aligned with business needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: As per the date of vacancy occurrence.
- Employment Status: Applicants must be employed in a regular capacity in:
- Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE),
- Central Government Group 'A' Officers,
- State Public Sector Enterprises (SPSE) with annual turnover of Rs. 5,000 crore or more,
- Private Sector companies with annual turnover of Rs. 5,000 crore or more (preference to listed companies).
- Qualification: Graduate with a Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Personnel Management/Human Resource Management or MBA/PGDM/PGPM.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in HR/Personnel Management/Industrial Relations in a reputed organization.

- Group 'A' Central Government Officers, Armed Forces, and All India Services: Through their Cadre Controlling authority.
- Officers from Public Sector Banks/Financial Institutions/Autonomous Bodies: Through their Administrative Ministry/Department of the Government of India.
- CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in CPSE: Through the concerned Administrative Ministry.
- Below Board level in CPSE: Through the concerned CPSE.
- CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in State PSE: Through the concerned Administrative Secretary and Cadre Controlling Authority of the State Government, if applicable.
- Below Board level in SPSE: Through the concerned State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE).
- Private Sector: Directly to the PESB.
Documents Required from Private Sector Applicants:
- Private sector applicants must include the following documents with their application:
- Annual Reports: Provide Annual Reports of the company for the last three financial years before the recruitment advertisement.
- Listing Proof: If the company is listed, provide proof of listing.
- Board Level Evidence: Evidence of current employment at the Board level or at least a post immediately below the Board level.
