The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination annually to recruit candidates for various government ministries, departments, and organizations. This exam is also known as the SSC CHSL (10+2) Exam.
Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL 2024 Exam follows a two-tier pattern conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), with each tier having different types and modes:
Key Changes
The exam pattern for SSC CHSL 2024 includes some key changes:
- Online Tier-I Exam: The Tier-I exam will be conducted online.
- Introduction of Descriptive Paper: A descriptive paper worth 100 marks will be introduced, to be completed within 60 minutes, in pen and paper mode.
- Reduced Time Limit: The time limit for the Tier-I exam has been reduced from 75 to 60 minutes.
- Tier-II Format: Tier-II includes Objective Multiple Choice + Skill Test & Typing Test.
