TRAI Recruitment 2024
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) seeks to fill the position of Senior Research Officer (F&EA) at its headquarters in New Delhi. This role is available on deputation under foreign service terms for an initial period of three years. The qualifications and experience required for this position are detailed below.
Eligibility Criteria
Officers from Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Statutory, and Autonomous Bodies:
- Holding an equivalent post at Level-11 on a regular basis; or
- Having four years of regular service in Level-10; or
- Having seven years of combined regular service in Level-10 and as a Section Officer, including at least one year in Level-10.
Essential Qualifications
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Science, or Humanities from a recognized university/institution.
- Membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, as applicable.
- Relevant experience in the field.
Desirable
- Experience in economic policy formulation, economic analysis, economic administration, or tariff/price administration.
Pay Scale
- Pay Level-11 (₹67,700–₹2,08,700) in the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC.
- [Pre-revised PB-3, ₹15,600–₹39,100 + GP ₹6,600].
- Includes allowances such as DA, HRA, etc., as per government rules.
Age Limit
The appointment will be on deputation under foreign service terms, governed by DoP&Trg. OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated June 17, 2010, and its amendments. The maximum age for deputation will not exceed 56 years as of the last date for application submission to TRAI.
