The University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for June 2024 has seen an extension of four days for application submission, now closing on May 19. Candidates aiming for Junior Research Fellowship, assistant professor eligibility, and PhD admission must apply on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The registration deadline has been extended twice.
A correction window for registered candidates will be open from May 21 to 23. Notably, the June exam will be in OMR format, a departure from previous years. Candidates with specific qualifications like MA in Geography or Humanities can appear for specialized subjects. However, all candidates must attempt Paper 1, covering teaching and research aptitude.
