Time of Reporting
Candidates should report to the Examination Centre two hours before the exam starts to complete frisking and registration. The registration desk will close 30 minutes before the exam begins, so it's important to arrive early to ensure all formalities are completed on time.
Guidelines for Exam Day
- Admit Card: Candidates must bring their admit card to the exam center.
- Identification: Carry a passport-size photograph and one of the following IDs: PAN card, Driving License, Passport, or Aadhaar Card. The name on the ID must match the name on the Admit Card.
- Seating: Sit in the seat assigned to you, marked with your Roll Number.
- Punctuality: Take your seat promptly after the Examination Hall opens. Late arrival may cause you to miss important instructions.
- Correct Question Paper: Ensure the question paper matches the subject you selected on your Admit Card. Notify the Invigilator if there is any discrepancy.
- Electronic Devices: Do not use or attempt to use any electronic devices once inside the exam center.

- Click on the link that says "UGC NET June 2024: Click Here to Download Admit Card."
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin, then click "Submit."
- Your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Check the details and download the admit card.
- Print a copy of the admit card for future reference.
UGC NET
UGC NET is a standardized test in India used to determine eligibility for the role of assistant professor in universities and colleges, and also for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
It is conducted by the National Testing Agency and covers 83 different subjects. The exam, offered twice annually, consists of two papers and has no limit on attempts. Successful candidates can maintain their eligibility for three years for JRF and for a lifetime for assistant professorship.
