Golf Central Hosts, Format, And Other Contributors
by Samina | Updated Feb 08, 2023
Golf Central Format
The show's anchor format varies; sometimes there is only one anchor on the desk for a show, sometimes an anchor is joined by an analyst for tournament recaps, and sometimes two anchors are used. With the addition of new talent to the show recently, the latter format has been used more recently. There is never a consistent anchor team because anchor teams change from night to night.
During tournaments, Golf Central airs every half hour to provide updates on the current event, including highlights and leaderboards. During major golf events, Golf Channel airs special Live From editions of Golf Central before and after their respective broadcasts, providing special extended coverage on-location from tournament sites, including analysis and press conference coverage.
