Hell Let Loose

Hell Let Loose is a multiplayer shooting game that came out in 2019. In this game, players work together in teams and fight in famous battles from World War II. These battles happen in places like Western Europe, North Africa, and Eastern Europe. The game was first started by a company from Australia called Black Matter.

They started making it after getting money from a Kickstarter campaign in 2017. They released it for people to play on computers in June 2019, but it wasn't finished yet. It was finally finished and released for everyone in July 2021. Later, in October 2021, they made versions of the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Then, in January 2022, the people who made the game, Black Matter, sold it to another company called Team17. Now, Team17 is in charge of making the game better, and they started working on it themselves in 2023.

Hell Let Loose Gameplay

In the game, there are big battles with 50 players on each side. You can choose to be German, American, Soviet, British, Finnish, or Polish soldiers. Each team has smaller groups of soldiers, tank crews, and recon teams. There are two game modes: "Warfare" and "Offensive." In Warfare, you win by taking over all the areas on the map or most of them before time runs out. In Offensive, one team starts with all the areas, and the other team tries to take them before time runs out.

Talking to your team is important. Each group has a leader who can talk to other leaders and the commander. There are different voice channels for your group, people nearby, and your friends. You can also chat with text on the PC version. The game also has a strategy part where each team has a commander.

They decide where to put vehicles, airstrikes, and supplies, but it costs resources. Engineers can build resource nodes to get more resources for the team. The other team can try to find and destroy these nodes to stop them.
