Method 1: Share Files via Google Drive

Instead of directly sharing large files on WhatsApp, you can use a third-party cloud service such as Google Drive to upload and share files in any format, including audio and video, with anyone. However, instead of sharing the file itself, you'll be sharing a link to it, which can be downloaded by the receiver. Here are the steps:

• Upload the intended file to Google Drive.
• Click on "Share" in the top right corner.
• Select "Get shareable link" on the top right of the "Share with others" option.
• Choose accessibility restrictions.
• Copy the file link and paste it into your WhatsApp chat to share the file with anyone.

Method 2: Send long videos on Whatsapp as a document on Android 

To share large videos on WhatsApp for Android, similar to the option available on iPhones, you can share them as documents. Follow these steps:

• Open WhatsApp and select the conversation where you want to share the video. Tap on the attachment icon, but instead of selecting "Gallery," choose "Document."
• Browse through the document icon and select the video file you wish to share from the list of files that appear or from other folders on your device.
• Once you have chosen the video, click on "Send" to share it with the selected contact.
• Keep in mind that the video and images will appear as documents and will only be visible after downloading. Also, note that WhatsApp documents have a limit of 100 MB, so make sure your file does not exceed this limit.

Method 3: Use the files app for iOS users to send large videos on Whatsapp 

If you're an iPhone user who doesn't want to compromise on the quality of videos when sharing them on WhatsApp and doesn't want to use compressor apps, you can use the Files app to send larger videos. Here are the steps to follow:

• Open the Photos app on your iPhone.
• Select the video you want to share and long-press to select it.
• Tap on "Save to Files" from the options in the panel below to save the video.
• This will lead you to a new tab where you can choose the iCloud drive. Select it and then choose "Downloads" before closing the tab. This will copy the files in the Photos app folder to a particular location inside iCloud.
• Open WhatsApp and select the contact with whom you want to share the video.
• Tap on the attachment icon and select "Documents" from the multiple options you get.
• Choose the video you want to share from the Files application.
• Tap on "Send" to share the video. Keep in mind that since the video is sent as a document, it should not exceed the limit of up to 100MB on WhatsApp.
