The puzzles found in Remnant 2 are known for their high level of complexity, providing players with a significant mental challenge. Among these puzzles, the Music Harp puzzle located within The Forbidden Grove of the Yaesha biome stands out as particularly difficult.
Players often find themselves investing several hours in an attempt to decipher its solution. One of the most intricate puzzles, this Music Harp challenge necessitates players to manipulate the instrument in a precise manner, resulting in the elevation of a bridge. This guide aims to provide a comprehensive explanation for successfully completing the Music Harp puzzle in Remnant 2.
How to Solve The Music Box Puzzle?
While navigating various worlds in Remnant 2, engaging with puzzles becomes a necessity. Among these enigmas is the Yaesha music box, initially found in a state of disrepair. To advance through the Yaesha mainline quest, rectifying this malfunctioning music box becomes imperative.
Remnant 2 adopts a minimalistic approach in terms of offering assistance or indications for resolving such predicaments, including the music box puzzle. This absence of explicit guidance led to a rather perplexing experience as I attempted to make headway within the game.
Step 1: Activate the Lever
At the outset, locate a nearby lever that needs to be engaged. Adjacent to the music box, my co-op partner and I discovered a small chamber containing a journal. Within this journal lies the solution to the puzzle, presenting the symbols in the sequence required for input into the music box to decipher the code. Whenever a dash is seen, it indicates that no node should be chosen in that line.
Step 2: Locate the Lever in the Dungeon
Before the music box can be made operational, a journey through various sections of the dungeon is necessary to access a lever. Close to the journal, two doors will become apparent.
Beyond one of these doors lies a staircase housing a lever that must be pulled. This act permits the music box to operate effectively once the appropriate nodes are input. The game doesn't explicitly instruct players to pull a lever, leading my co-op partner and I to learn this through trial and error.
After grappling with numerous attempts and mistakes in our initial efforts to solve the music box puzzle, we opted to take an alternate route through a nearby portal.
Upon traversing a series of maps and vanquishing several bosses, including Kaeula's Shadow, we stumbled upon a previously opened door. Remarkably, it led us back to the room with the journal. Ascending a nearby outdoor staircase close to the door we unlocked, we discovered a lever, as depicted in my accompanying image.
Step 3: Activate the Lever for the Music Box
Prior to resolving the music box puzzle, it is imperative to activate the lever we encountered. Once the lever is pulled, the music box can be restored to functionality.
Step 4: Input the Nodes According to the Journal
Having activated the lever, we retraced our steps to the music box and proceeded to input the nodes precisely as instructed by the journal. Each row within the music box corresponds to a symbol outlined in the journal. For instance, in the first row, one must elevate the peg under the initial symbol enumerated in the journal, which corresponds to the fifth option on the music box. This process should be replicated for the subsequent rows.

Step 5: Engage the Final Lever
Upon selecting the nodes in the accurate sequence, exit the puzzle and move to the left side of the music box, as illustrated in the accompanying video. Here, a lever awaits your pull. Upon engaging this lever, the music box should commence playing melodies, provided the notes have been input correctly.

Remnant 2, much like its predecessor, is a third-person shooter that draws inspiration from Soulslike video games. In this thrilling sequel, players are equipped with the ability to wield up to two guns, along with their trusty melee weapon, offering a diverse array of combat options.
At the outset of the game, players have the opportunity to choose their character archetypes, each with unique abilities and playstyles. For example, the Gunslinger class replaces the Ex-cultist class from the first game and focuses on wielding firearms with deadly precision. The Challenger class boasts a devastating shockwave attack that can disintegrate enemies, while the Handler class enjoys the assistance of a loyal dog companion in battle.
As players progress through the game, they will have the opportunity to dual class, combining abilities from different archetypes to suit their preferred approach to combat.
Each archetype comes with its own set of perks and skills that players can activate to enhance their abilities. For instance, the Gunslinger's unique ability, "Loaded," grants the character an instant reload for all carried firearms, ensuring a seamless and continuous assault. The Handler's prime perk ability, "Bonded," allows the dog companion to revive the character if they fall in battle, providing valuable support during challenging encounters.
The procedural generation feature, present in the first game, has been significantly expanded in Remnant 2. This means that not only the level layout and enemy spawn points change but also enemy types, region aesthetics, boss characters, non-playable characters, as well as the game's storyline and quests are all randomly generated.
