Sonic Superstars: Egg Fortress Boss Fight is how to defeat the boss, Doctor Robotnik, in the Egg Fortress Stage of the video game Sonic Superstars. This boss battle is known to be one of the most challenging encounters in the game. The guide is divided into two phases, each with multiple steps on how to defeat the boss.

Phase One:

• Blue Missiles: Robotnik starts by launching missiles into the air. You need to focus on hitting the blue missiles back at him.
• Red Wall: After the first hit, Robotnik creates a series of red walls. You need to find gaps and avoid getting hit by them.
• Blue Missiles, Part Two: Robotnik launches more missiles, which you also need to hit back at him.
• Upheaval & Lightning Orbs: Robotnik raises one of his arms, and you need to run in the opposite direction to avoid getting hit by the ground upheaval and lightning orbs.
• Blue Missiles, Part Three: Another round of blue missile attacks.
• A Hole In The Red Wall: You need to jump through a hole in the red wall to avoid taking damage.
• Blue Missiles, Part Four: More blue missile attacks.
• Enhanced Upheaval & Lightning Orbs: An upgraded version of the upheaval attack with more lightning orbs.
• Blue Missiles, Part Five: Another round of blue missile attacks.
• A Hole In The Red Wall, Part Two: Similar to the previous hole, but higher up on the red wall.
• Blue Missiles, Part Six: The final round of blue missile attacks in Phase One.

Phase Two:

• Overhead Slam: Robotnik performs an overhead slam, allowing you to jump on his head to deal damage.
• Lightning Orbs: Robotnik releases lightning orbs, and you should hide behind elevated floors to avoid getting hit.
• Lightning Beams: Robotnik fires lightning beams in a specific pattern, and you need to dodge them.
• Overhead Slam, Part Two: Another overhead slam attack.
• Lightning Orbs, Part Two: A more challenging lightning orb section without cover.
• Lightning Beams, Part Two: Another set of lightning beams to dodge.
• Overhead Slam, Part Three: Yet another overhead slam attack.
• Lightning Orbs, Part Three: Another lightning orb section with no cover.
• Lightning Beams, Part Three: The final set of lightning beams to dodge.
• Overhead Slam, Part Four: The last overhead slam attack in Phase Two.
• After damaging Robotnik during the fourth overhead slam in Phase Two, you can use your Avatar Chaos Emerald Ability to call forth your Clones, which will help you finish the boss battle and end the fight.

Sonic Superstars

Sonic Superstars, released in 2023, is an exciting platform game developed by Arzest and Sonic Team, and published by Sega. This game harks back to the classic side-scrolling gameplay that made Sonic the Hedgehog an iconic figure in the gaming world during the 1990s. 

Players can choose from four beloved characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, each with their unique abilities, to take on the infamous Doctor Eggman and Fang the Hunter as they traverse side-scrolling levels. A notable addition is the inclusion of power-ups accessible by collecting the Chaos Emeralds, adding a new layer of strategy and fun.

Takashi Iizuka, the head of Sonic Team, aimed to modernize the traditional side-scrolling formula while maintaining Sonic's legacy. This collaboration emerged after a different project with the Sonic Mania developers fell through. 

Arzest, led by Sonic co-creator Naoto Ohshima, successfully combines the essence of classic Sonic gameplay with innovative new game mechanics. Sonic Superstars Gameplay

Sonic Superstars offers an engaging gameplay experience reminiscent of the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games from the Sega Genesis era. In this side-scrolling platform game, players embark on an adventure to thwart the evil plans of Doctor Eggman, who has hired the cunning Fang the Hunter and Trip the Sungazer to capture giant animals on North Star Islands for his army.

Players have a choice of four initial characters, each with distinct abilities. Sonic can roll into a dash after jumping, Tails can fly, Knuckles can glide and climb, and Amy wields a hammer for attacks and has a double jump. Completing the main campaign unlocks Trip, a character combining Amy's double jump with Knuckles' climbing.

The game's world is divided into 12 zones, each filled with familiar elements like springs, loops, rings that serve as health, and shield power-ups. Some zones introduce unique features, such as vine grinding or character-exclusive acts.

Special stages offer additional challenges and rewards. Players can swing through 3D environments to collect Chaos Emeralds, which grant power-up abilities. There are also rotating mazes to navigate for medals used in character customization.

Sonic Superstars supports local multiplayer for up to four players and introduces player-versus-player modes, including races, battles, collection competitions, and last-man-standing, adding exciting versatility to the classic Sonic gameplay.
