In a recently disclosed email from Fox News Chairman Rupert Murdoch, it appears that a former Fox News Personality  Kimberly Guilfoyle was terminated due to “inappropriate behaviour”. This revelation added credibility to the previous reports suggesting that Guilfoyle was forced out amid sexual harassment allegations.

The email was brought to light as a part of the Dominion voting systems' defamation lawsuit against Fox News for having private communications with Fox employees being made public.  According to East Bay Times, Murdoch criticised their rival network Newsmax and referred to Guilfoyle who was advising them, as someone he “insisted we fired for inappropriate Behaviour”.

Murdoch mistakenly referred to her as “Kimberly Strassel,” a Wall Street Journal opinion writer, but it was clear from the context that he was referring to Guilfoyle as “Don Jr.’s girlfriend.” Guilfoyle has been in a relationship with Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, since 2018.

According to The New Yorker, the assistant's complaint and interviews with sources revealed allegations that she was frequently required to work from Guilfoyle's apartment, where Guilfoyle would allegedly expose herself while the assistant was present.

The allegation ultimately led to Fox News reaching a $4 million out-of-court settlement, as reported by The New Yorker. Guilfoyle has previously denied the accusations and her attorney, speaking to the New Yorker asserted that any accusation on  Guilfoyle’s part on Fox News is entirely false. 

As of now, neither Fox News nor Kimberly Guilfoyle’s representatives have responded to requests for comments regarding these latest revelations.
